ECO Quik-SORB is hydrophobic and will remain afloat for long period of time, allowing for easy removal. When required, set containment booms downstream on along the outer perimeter of spill. Spread ECO Quik-SORB manually or mechanically upwind, upstream from spill. Recover using screened forks, skimming or vacuum devices. Where allowed by law, ECO Quik-SORB will biodegrade hydrocarbons on water. Due to variety of liquid and chemicals involved in spills, we cannot recommend disposal procedures. ECO Quik-SORB can be incinerated on land farmed in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. ECO Quik-SORB meets and exceeds EPA requirements. Meets or exceeds Coast Guards requirements for usage of natural absorbent.
